I’m Saba Sadeghimehr, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and explore what matters to you. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach, recognizing how your experiences, relationships, and cultural background shape the way you navigate the world.
I support clients experiencing trauma-related concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges. I also work with people navigating migration-related stress, adjustment difficulties, and significant life transitions. Together, we can explore difficult experiences, make sense of recurring patterns, and develop practical ways to manage distress at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I tailor our work to your needs, strengths, and goals, with an emphasis on building emotional awareness, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful change.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York University. My background includes psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and families, as well as supporting children with developmental disabilities and working alongside families and healthcare teams.
I believe therapy is a partnership in which your voice and choices matter. Whether you are seeking support through a difficult chapter or hoping to feel more connected to yourself and others, I aim to meet you with curiosity, care, and respect.
