As an educator and a psychotherapist for more than 18 years, I strongly believe that therapy sessions can be overwhelming for the clients and therapist hold a space with care and empathy. I work with all ages facing challenging life experiences including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parental stress, shame, grief, immigration/adjustment issues and neurodivergence. Using an integrative approach, I draw from several perspectives including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectial Behavioural Therapy), NA (Narrative Therapy), SA (Somatic Therapy), Trauma Informed & psychodynamic approaches. I aim to provide warm, validating and comfortable space for the client to improve their resiliency and focus. My background education includes Bachelor’s in Child Development, and M.A. in counselling and psychotherapy from Yorkville University. I do provide therapy in English, Urdu, and Punjab.
